Ouzo Scent Beard Oil

Growing up in a Dutch community there was always "Dubbel Zout" licorice in the house. DZ is a Dutch black licorice that is heavy on the salt. Like double heavy. If you like salt, we highly recommend it. The love for this black licorice has drawn us to a well know aperitif alcohol drink from Greece called "Ouzo". But, this drink nor the candy make the "black licorice" taste. No, it actually comes from a seed from a flower (star shaped) from a tree in south China and northeast Vietnam. The essential oil from this seed is "black licorice" taste. It has been used for over 3,000 years for medicine.

More recently shikiic acid, found in anise star oil, is recognized as having advantages for hair growth. The oil has shown to boost keratinocy growth factors, lengthen hair shafts, and support vascular endothelial and hair growth.

So we see a Win Win! Where we get to enjoy the smell association of black licorice without the salt/sugar and we stay sober, all at the same time! Enjoy!

How To Use:

Put a quarter-sized amount of oil in the palm of your hand and rub on to your fingertips. Apply the oil on to the skin under your beard, blending the oil throughout. Apply one time per day or more often if needed.
